  Yes the shower was good, the kitchen was clean as well as the fridge but I do have some discrepancies. I loved the amount of closet space and drawers but there were no hangers provided so it felt like a missed opportunity for bonus points. There was a slight smoke smell but not too much that it was bothersome. I loved the location, not too far from the city and there were many stores within short distances. Please note as in other reviews, the parking lot is terrible. For some reason the apartments on the other side of the street has a new alley but ours looks like an obstacle course. If you have a rental car, keep this in mind. I was not comfortable at all getting into our parking spot, the potholes were up to 4 inches deep and 2 feet long. I asked the host prior to the stay about it and they said it was drivable, I disagree. Also road closures make you take a detour to the complexes, which was not mentioned to us. Overall, the stay went smoothly and provided all that we needed.

  The low rating is solely because of the upstair neighbors. The noise was constant and significantly impacted our stay. Late at night, between 12:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., the they would come home making an excessive amount of noise, with loud footsteps and repeated banging that made it nearly impossible to relax or get a full night's sleep. In addition to that, we could hear entire conversations and arguments from above. The host description described that there would be noise as the place is older, but the level of it was far exceeded what would be considered normal apartment living and became a daily frustration. Aside from this issue, the apartment itself was great. It was maintained, stocked with all the amenities we needed, easy to access, and conveniently located near the highways. The host was excellent with response time and providing and answering to any questions or needs we had.
